i think we should juz make it short n precise..too long no1 will read...n use simpler english... kenrick,u had done a great job but i think that d draft is 2 long n the words r too bombastic...im afraid young fans wouldn't understand... Hmm...okay. I will see what I can do to simplify it. Thanks for the comments. erm..i think it would be best if we include a huge photo of daniel , with the caption daniel's official website''...tust me it really works..thats how i join this DFC..haha...got the website when i went 1U that day.. im sure this will capture evry1's attention..after all, we wanna promote daniel's website oso rite?

Kenrick - You have done a good job. I have picked up a few important points from your draft and maybe see what others think abt it?? "We welcome you to join THE OFFICIAL FAN CLUB OF DANIEL LEE -- www.daniel-lee.net" (here you could put a photo of fans with Daniel and it is as if they are saying the "welcome" quote): The official Daniel Fan Club was founded in mid-October this year. It intends to serve as an avenue for supporters of the affable and modest 23-year-old to get up to date news about his latest developments in the entertainment scene. Several notable features of this Fan Club - In less than a month, the club breached the 1000 member mark - Very active involvement from Daniel’s immediate family members and relatives. The members of this club receive the most up-to-date news about Daniel. - Daniel’s fans, known as ‘The Pinkies’, always make their presence felt whenever he is performing, supporting him with cheers of undivided support. - With the wide range of fans of various ages and backgrounds, from all over Malaysia, we have various discussion threads where we share experiences and knowledge with each other. “Winning or losing is part of competition. What is more important is that we give our best and are confident. We must also be able to accept whatever comes.” -Daniel Lee, Malaysian Idol 2 here you could put another pic of Daniel.

I am currently thinking of the target market for Laconic jewellery, and I need your opinions. The jewellery seems to appeal to the more matured 'aunties' (and maybe some younger girls). Though that is true, many husbands also purchase jewellery for their wives. Therefore, the segment of the market the write-up must appeal to is the more 'matured' age group. Of course, I am not putting aside the possibility that teenage girls go window shopping at times (and rich ones buy them off the shelves!). Statistically, Daniel's fans consist primarily, though not exclusively, of teenage girls (and of course, young-at-heart aunties . So, the question is: Kenrick, to help you understand about Laconic jewellery...it's different from those things normally sold in Poh Kong Jewellery or your normal jewellery shop. The target market for Laconic is not those aunties would normally be looking for and wearing (but they also have-lar products for aunties). Look at the MIMPI single's album....and you will know what is laconic jewellery...actually Daniel is wearing the laconic pendant in the cover photo. So, now do you know the target market for laconic products? It's more for the youths like yourself and Daniel. Take a look. So, it's completely appropriate for Daniel to represent this product because products like these are liked by your generation.

I was just browsing through www.e-laconic.com and noticed that they offer a wide range of celtic looking accessories. I have been stereotyping thus far that it would be of the more costly jewellery. Definitely wrong..Terribly wrong! hahaha..Clearly, their potential customers would be: (i) Teenagers of 16 and above (ii) Couples (as they offer lovely couple-oriented accessories) (iii) More spendthrift women or maybe squanderers who might be men at times to please their wives (They offer extremely expensive swarovski crystals..RM8990 ) So, we also have to be diversed in many aspects such as creating threads for movies, sports, books etc. We have to attract them through their interest in socialising and making new friends. What would be the optimum length for the write-up?

valen and tension are absolutely right. I'm afraid I had also stereotyped Laconic as the typical Poh Kong jewellry shop...and I was completely wrong!!!! I doubt their typical market is for uncles and aunties because a lot of their jewellry seems to appeal more to the younger generation. To show you what I mean, here are more examples of some of their pieces... I like their jewellry photography...very creative and eye-catching!! See their website for more pics and info. Too bad they don't have a branch in KL... kenrick, great write up...you have an excellent command of english.. But like the others said, it's too long and should be cut down... And the language maybe simplified too - it is after all supposed to be directed at the younger generation right?
