Kenrick, What do you think about this?? Of course we find a better pic of Daniel..and use this as the headings... His star quote... Winning or losing is part of competition. What is more important, is that we give our best and are confident. We must also be able to accept whatever comes.. Daniel Lee Chee Hun, the Malaysian Idol for season II I think the quote is a great idea, uncle! It is definitely eye-catching! I will try to come up with my first draft for the write-up by tonight for public scrutiny. P.S.-Artists: Some of you whom I have messaged mentioned that you have other commitments (especially SPM). I suppose, with the consent of my superiors, that you should first concentrate on the exams, and that there are plenty of opportunities in the future to design-leave this job to others for the moment. We want you to have one focus and do well. ;D All the best!

Hi,these are some of my suggestions...As we all know that,in this website,we(fans/members) are always finding out as much as we cud about Daniel and we r crazy over him..Y dun we put all these in one single word?DANIELISM?So it can attract some ppl who do not always lookout by d counter, get wat i mean? For example,we cud put the name card sized things,in a container or something and some huge words on top of it..Like, 'Are you a part of DANIELISM yet?''What are you waiting for?' or a 'Please take one' sign so ppl will be curious and they will take and see..Wat do you guys think?

Pardon me for the late reply. Had a few problems with connection yesterday.
Anyway, this is my first draft:
Brought together by continuous support throughout his journey in Malaysian Idol and sheer appreciation for his talent, the official Daniel Fan Club was founded in mid-October this year. It intends to serve as an avenue for supporters of the affable and modest 23-year-old to get up to date news about his latest developments in the entertainment scene.
In less than a month, the club breached the 1000 member mark, and membership is still growing steadily. Contrary to popular opinion that teenage girls will exclusively dominate this club, the age range of the members is well distributed from the youngest teenagers to the more matured adults. As a result of this diversity, the official forum has succeeded to become more than an avenue of idol-worship, but one which incorporates fun with education in a very healthy balance.
A few pointers about what can be derived from the forum:
Updates: With very active involvement from Daniel’s immediate family members and relatives, the members of this club receive the most up-to-date news about Daniel’s events, airtimes and his meet-the-fans sessions. This website and its accompanying forum are the two pages Daniel visits most frequently; fans have the opportunity to leave messages for Daniel and ask Daniel questions here.
Family and fellowship: Daniel’s fans, ‘The Pinkies’, always make their presence felt whenever he is performing, supporting him with cheers of undivided support. We always go in large groups, and usually in families, taking the opportunity for casual fellowship sessions before and after his performance. ‘The Pinkies’ are one big family by themselves-united by admiration for their idol.
Education- With the wide range of ages and backgrounds of the current members, we have various discussion threads where we share experiences and knowledge with each other. The younger members have their own thread to discuss academic issues and homework problems, and they benefit largely from helping each other out. The more matured ones go to great lengths to discuss about upbringing tips and reminisce experiences during their younger days.
“Winning or losing is part of competition. What is more important is that we give our best and are confident. We must also be able to accept whatever comes.” -Daniel Lee, Malaysian Idol 2
Note: 1. Please amend and add on as much as you can. I need more ideas and opinions. 2. It really depends on how the artists design this write-up; do anything you want with it. Let your minds wander.

Kenrick, i think you should use 'simpler' words... and like what idolhunter say, parents are lazy to read so i suggest making it shorter ;D

Kenrick, i think you should use 'simpler' words... and like what idolhunter say, parents are lazy to read so i suggest making it shorter ;D Thanks Sevelynn. Appreciate your feedback. ;D I have thought about that too. I would personally suggest that the 3 pointers-family & fellowship, education, up-to-date news-be put as captions of photos instead of a long print-out. For example: *Photo of Daniel replying fans' posts/Daniel's family*-Caption: Update-etc. *Photo of gathering at 1U and Raya Show*-Caption: Family and Fellowship-etc. It cuts things shorter and makes things much easier and catchy to see than a printout on an A4 size paper. I think our target is to attract customers to the counter first, and the best way to do that is through pictures. Then the captions, then the short portion on the foundation of the club (first to paragraphs). Any other thoughts?

My proposal - the ad should be simple and not cluttered with details. These are the words that I think should be included:- 1. Malaysian Idol 2005 (or season2) winner 2. Official Fans Club 3. "Pinkies" 4. www.daniel-lee.netyou could say something like ... "members of his fan club are called pinkies...if you want to know more, log on to....." The business cards should include a simple logo...Do we have a logo? what abt the 2 fingers logo? When I go to the CD stores, I intro myself as Sec of DFC...wud be great if we hv a card to show, right? And everyone else, have a generic type of bizness card that we can distribute to others when doing the promotions. OK...post your Art Creations here as Idolhunter said. Get started. erm..mayb we should say ''members of his fan club are called pinkies...anyone who wish 2 b one of the pinkies, just log on www.daniel-lee.net and register yourself!! you can have lots of joy, fun, news and excitement in this fan club...so wat are u waiting for?''
