You can engrave your name on the jewellery piece, but the shop won't do it for you...they will take it to someone else to do it. Or..you can go look for an engraver yourself. Yes, their products have a different target market, i.e. the majority of DFC members will like their products.
It's on the 4th floor, Prangin Mall.

Kenrick - You have done a good job. I have picked up a few important points from your draft and maybe see what others think abt it?? "We welcome you to join THE OFFICIAL FAN CLUB OF DANIEL LEE -- http://www.daniel-lee.net" (here you could put a photo of fans with Daniel and it is as if they are saying the "welcome" quote): The official Daniel Fan Club was founded in mid-October this year. It intends to serve as an avenue for supporters of the affable and modest 23-year-old to get up to date news about his latest developments in the entertainment scene. Several notable features of this Fan Club - In less than a month, the club breached the 1000 member mark - Very active involvement from Daniel’s immediate family members and relatives. The members of this club receive the most up-to-date news about Daniel. - Daniel’s fans, known as ‘The Pinkies’, always make their presence felt whenever he is performing, supporting him with cheers of undivided support. - With the wide range of fans of various ages and backgrounds, from all over Malaysia, we have various discussion threads where we share experiences and knowledge with each other. “Winning or losing is part of competition. What is more important is that we give our best and are confident. We must also be able to accept whatever comes.” -Daniel Lee, Malaysian Idol 2 here you could put another pic of Daniel. Thanks valen. I think you have picked up the important points. Since the target market is of our age, I no longer see a necessity for lengthy elaborations. I think we should now concentrate on the designs which appeal to teenagers. I like Valen's summary. Anyone has anything else to amend or to cut from the simplified version?

Kenrick, you sure you think the important points are there? If it's still too long, you can shorten further.
maybe you can get pics/photos of daniel from the others and then transfer the whole thing to a picture format using photoshop or whatever....in A4 size format like idolhunter said.
Swan...haha...you like the jewellery also, right? Some of them also quite cheap,....affordable by teenagers...RM39.90 also got adi...Kenrick, when u coming to Penang? I can take you there.

I will check to see which photos are suitable. Have a few in mind at the moment, but of course I welcome offers from the other members. ;D There is that very small chance that I will be going for the Penang's fans gathering. Nothing much to do in KL at that time. So, you can bring me to Laconic then right, boss? ;D

Laconic jewelleries are really nice. With Daniel being their spokesperson, I'm sure their sales will really go up. Heh, I'd love to see those myself.... =P I wonder when I can go up to Penang.

Just wanted to request a few things from the designers (bosses, please take note too):
1. Kiraion's PM to me gave me some new ideas for the layout. Do you all think that the A4 layout is most attractive? What about a small booklet, or a more compact A5-the write-up is much simpler and less lengthy now, I am afraid that a whole A4 might be inadequate. But of course, good pictures are the key. ;D
2. Elaine, can I request your subcommittee's assistance to provide pictures for the following captions:
(i) Daniel Fans Gathering- 1 Utama, Raya Realiti, Estee Lauder, and Mid-Valley Appearance.
(ii) I really like the 'introductory-Congratulations,1000+ members' design which welcomes us everytime we open this forum. It would be great if we could get a hard copy of it. Thanks to the one who designed it. ;D
(iii) Photographs taken by professionals are good-but I think it would be good to include some down-to-earth pictures of Daniel. (My suggestion-Some good ones from Daniel's Old Photos). Gives the impression that we really get much 'nearer' to Daniel's everyday life after we join this club, and that will certainly attract people.
(iv) Teng, Yumi and the other BIG collectors-Would it be possible to borrow a few pictures of your collection of Daniel's articles etc.?
Valen, I am now thinking of attractive words for the article. Give me some time,k? Thinking hard! ;D Thank you very much. ;D

the "welcome" picture is from ieni...if i'm not mistaken. Also, elaine ha sbeen collectign pics..so she should have a large collection. Ee mun also hv a sizeable collection, I believe.
You can put a lot of pics in the background...sort of translucent pics...and the words in bold. Take your time, but not too long...otherwise we got nothing to show...TQ.

We could include one or two from his journey in MI too, or the one where he was annouced as the winner. Yes, Valen..you are not mistaken. Thanks so much Kenrick! ;D That's my favourite picture of Daniel... I could send you the full quality one if you want (it's still the same size), though the difference is quite negligible.

wow.. lots of ideas...
but i personally think too many pics and too many texts inside an A4 paper is a bit headache to look at, ( from advertising point of view...)

Pinkies, This design was done by ieni...she is good.. and yes I think a picture is worth a 1000 words.. Use this same format but make into A4 or alittle bigger. pictures of faces is a good attraction... and simple words like: "Come Join us" Daniel Lee Fan club - "artistic writings like the pic.." "One Big Happy Family"... ** pics.. get some auntie n uncle pics too..give it a more age n gander range,... ** add a few more good words... website: www.daniel-lee.netI think we are getting somewhere here.. the same idea we can use for all ads.. not only for laconic but anywhere we can paste.. ;D
