Recently my friend has found out that her bf is actually 3 years younger than her and she is totally in distress...she has been with him for over a year and not knowing the truth about her bf...few days ago while celebrating his 15th birthday she found out the cold truth...due to the fact that he is working in his dad's company and always wearing a coat, not to mention driving a BMW as well, she assumes that he is around 20 in age...this incident has pop-up a question in my mind and i begin to wonder whether age is a factor in relationship...what do you guys think? let's share your opinion here~

well i think it really depends, as in the case of Jessica's friend, it might be disturbing that you're 18 and your bf's 15, but when both get older, age wouldn't matter as much as it matters during the teenage years. certainly in a relationship there are other more important things- feelings, mutual understanding & respect, compatibility... all these added together very well transcends age. But of course, how big the age gap is matters too.......you certainly don't want your parner to be 20 years older than you, eh? But again, love is blind, so when one is in love, nothing matters and everything is fine...... oh well...... =)
ps. 15 and wearing coat and driving a BMW? whew........

bingo evonc ... u re absolutely right ... age, race and look are not the factors ... money is the factor ... hehehe ...
p/s my sis-in-law is older than my bro ... so, i dun see any problem with it ... as long as the 2 can get along well together

i think the age gap is a big factor especially during teenage time ... when stepping into 20s or 30s ... age is no longer the factor, and to be realistic and practical, i would think one's financial ability, maturity and family background will be the top factors ...

To me age is just a number , but i dont like dating guys who are younger than me . and i do not have any problem about ppl dating guys young/older than them . nothing can be stronger than feelings , its just all about feelings . if you're going for someone based on looks , kaching$$ , age . Whats the point of love ?
