any of u still remember the proud moments we gave our parents, for little accomplishments we made?
i still remember a time when one of my illustrative works was published in a newspaper, and my dad was keeping the newspaper page and showing it to all his friends... ;D
that time, i was like, "oh daddy is so silly..."
and then, very recently, my daughter who is seven year old, came home with a prefect's tie... oh my, dunno why , the sudden "proudness" emerged in me... probably because i have never been a prefect throughout my schooling years...

i remember, when i was in year three. we still have the PTS exam then...
i passed the exam, and all the teachers and students couldnt believe it...
i went home and told my mum, "mummy i pass PTS"
she was like, "hahaha dun bluff la"
"really wan.." (small kid that time..so say things very truthful)
"really ah?"
"really!"
she straightaway hugged me and didnt let go...my parents were really proud ;D

I remember when my dotter was to receive her UPSR result the same day she had to sit for her piano exam. I asked if she wanted to collect the result first prior to going for the piano exam and she chose piano exams first and I asked her why. Her reply was simply, if I failed, it would be good for my slow tempo pieces as it would reflect my feelings but I would fail in uptempo numbers becos I cannot put my excitement into that piece of music. I was taken aback with her reply. That's a mark of maturity for a then 12 year old girl.
I can imagine Idolhunter and Swan56 - they must be ecstatic. Imagine if our kids are superstars? Well, I guess they are 'superstars' as well, in other ways ;D ;D

certainly chillicandy wont feel anything when her dad did that coz u havent step into their shoes yet... eventhough i dont have children n not married yet but i can see most parents see their child as their everything...they sacrifice everything for the love of their children.... my proudest moment? not much...but i know my parents are proud of me when they attend my university convocation few years back....we are waiting outside the hall before the ceremony start n my parents are inside...when me n other graduates walk in, my dad rush to the front to snap photos of me.....he is very proud of me...i can tell that...same goes to my sis n next year is my younger bro. graduation...
