Has anyone used the rice cake thing before? The one in bottles and looks like small moth balls and you have to wet a few of them in your hands? And then pat pat all over your face - then it will cool your face down...My grandmother used to do it for - says it is good for skin. Wonder if it is true? Havent seen them around for ages. And the other is the white powder in a box. And the box had a lady in sam fu with really black hair, red lips and white face (from the powder) - anyone remembers? Sarahg, hehehe...I used to love the 'moth ball' water powder when I was a kid...so so cooling. I put them on my two older kids when they were much younger because my mom had supplies of them before. ;D They still sell them, must go to a typical chinese sundry shop I think. I have also seen them before in medical halls. i also remember and hv seen the sam fu powder. My late grandma used to hv that and will only buy that box of powder. ;D ;D Sarahg...we both same generasi la. ;D ;D

Hehehe skincare. My turn to share pulak. I am a late starter in skincare because it's expensive, time consuming and partly also because I didn't think I had much problem wif my skin (at that point in time), still young ma. I only started using skincare at the age of 36 because my older sister advised me to do so and she is a loyal customer of dermalogica. Told me only the good pros of the product. So, gullible me went and invested the whole complete set which cost me a bomb. After my 2nd use, my face started rashing...OMG , I almost died looking at all the red patches on my face. My younger brother laffed at me saying that I looked for trouble when trouble never troubled me . I headed straight to Leonard Drake hoping they could rectify my rashes. After having been massaged for 3 sessions, they could not find a better solution than advising me to continue the product for a little while more to see if the skin is adapting to the products. I just packed the stuff and gave them to my sister. The problem is she has different skin texture and some products may not suit her. That's when I saw my $$$ flushing down the drain . My skin cannot take the prestigious product la. Aiyo sudah desperate oredi, so I went to Clarins to check on their products as I heard rave reviews abt its products. Nasib baik, the products suited me well...rashes langsung disappear. No ar, am not advertising for Clarins here but I must say it saved my skin la ;D ;D ;D. From then on, it was Clarins all the way...6 'beautiful' year$ wif Clarins now. But now, I am using a mix of SKII, Clarins and Amway. I am using the SKII Essence, clarins cleanser and latest, abt to embark on the new Wrinkle Relax pencil from Amway (its latest release). What to do, skin losing elasticity la...apa pun mau cuba oredi to rectify. Now I just love to admire those young people...their skin so fair, smooth and flawless, just like our dear and beloved Daniel Lee. Just love his so fair and flawless skin texture soooo very much, feel like sayang sayang his face at times.

Melody, I remember how it was our favourite thing to do after a bath at my grandmother's. We always used the powder to create the most fanciful design on your face. Can still hear por por yelling at us for wasting the 'powder bubbles'. hehe!
Same generation? Hmmm....must be lah!
Maybe I shld look them up and have some fun with my kids. haha!

ohhh all the beauticians flocks here! kekekeke... i'm more of a careless person and couldnt care for more on my face... when i am a teens, i have raging hormones and popping pimples, that leaves permanent pimples scar on my face. anyway, i only starts using face moisturiser when i am over 23 , i think... the face cleaser is still the same old brand , kao biore since my teenage life. having a sensitive skin, doesnt encourage me to be adventurous with the face kits and brands. Thats why, i have been using Olay products ( for face moisturiser ) , kao biore ( face cleanser ) for most of my life... and i upgrade myself with the olay new products as i goes on, so now i am using the olay regenerist serum. It felt lovely and fresh whenever applied onto my face. I think i spent lesser money on my face than most of the ladies here..HAHAHAHA

erm....as for me....
i started to go and buy facial products when i am 12 years old...coz i saw all my fren wash their face every morning with facial products.i ''sin si hang''mahh so mah try lohh...eheh..so i was recommended the '' '' brand...the promoter recommended for me coz im still young..luckily i didnt use now coz i saw ladybird post the articles...that this brand is also containing cancer product...eheh...but i just use maybe about few weeks then i didnt use....eheh...until the facial product turn into expiry..eheh
then...i didnt use any facial products until form 4 that time..my aunty bought the ''lancome'' so i got the sample...and i use for maybe few days and i didnt use until this year the lancome facial product still with me...i wonder izzit expired dy not...ahah..
sometimes i just use some sample and wash....i think most of them suitable for me...dunno lahh...coz nth big deal happen to my faceb4 after using it..ehhe..maybe i didnt realized eheheh....
normally i just use water to wash ...my problem on my face is....pimples and black head ....my way on removing the black head is to exercise , bcoz when never u exercise, ur pores will open...or go to steam or sauna...the black head will reduce definitely....pimples juz come anytime....eheheh...normally is small small 1...but sometimes scare me..got big big 1 also..ahahah...
erm...currently i didnt use any facial products or facial....coz ppl says that im too young 4 it..and i think my skin is still ok....so no need to use any facial products 1st...maybe sooner have to use liao....ehhe...
*freckles izzit mostly the fair ppl will have a higher rate to get? coz i heard my bio teacher said that*

Yeay! my turn to share... okay. i know most pre-teens and teens out ther suffer of acne (pimples) and blackheads. some like me has to put up with a face that just full of oil..can fry an egg! so, good news for ppl with acne. you know how aloe vera is use in almost all the skincare products and how it is proven good for acne..and so it is.. my grandma suggested to my mum to plant aloe vera at out hse so that my sis could use it... and guess wat? its really good. u just need to cut out one small portion from the whole stalk and rub the juice on your face... the jucie feels cold and if you do taste it, its sweet.. after a period of time, u can see the results...it is proven! n it is not chemically dangerous to your face because it is just a plant.. ;D oily skin like mine i try the L'Oreal Pure Zone...cleansing,toner and mosturiser. and it works. the blackhead has lessen down.. and for ppl esp students who cant afford facial treatment, buy any masking products. i would recommend Body Shop or Skin Food or Freeman.. Clay mask always work better for the oily skin.. each week once, after using the exfoliating gel of scrub, i would apply the mask... i'll only go for facial once every 3 months as i cant really afford to go every month.. and for girls who like to use make ups, try not to us make ups that contains mineral oil or petrolatum...not good for the face and its prone to acne...
