hehe what about the anodised type? Unlike the castiron wok (extremely good, got wok heong, but can karat!! ), its easy to take care. If follow manurfacturer's instruction, it works like a non-stick wok, minus the chemical coating. I also seldom cook, but I got 2 stainless steel woks, and one anodised mini wok... kakaka and lots of stainless steel pots. I dont like non-stick!!!

XD no no no... dont need different brush!! To remove foodstuff that got stuck to it, simply add water and let it simmer for a while, and everything will come out. U can use anything for the stainless steel wok lah, be it the 3M sponge or the steel wool type. I like using the coconut brush...... But of course, if u use the glossy stainless steel (the mahal ones where its got shine like a mirror), u need to buy some of the special polish cream from dept store, to maintain the shine lah!!! Can get anywhere lah, Sogo, Parkson.... and u use kitchen tissue to do the job leh... ;D ;D

Chilicandy, if you use the ionised type, you can use any type of scrub - and it wont scratch. Look around - I think mine is Korean made. While I like stainless steel, I dont like tht 'rainbow stain' after using it a couple of times - I know it is the oil but I am fussy abt 'appearance' ;D of the cooking utensils...Then I use Jiff to rub and rub ... sigh And for boiling soups, stews, I use pyrex, corningware bec - this one is my mum's tip - if you are cooking sourish food, then the vinegar, asam eats into the metal - not so great - so glass is safer in tht aspect. BTW, half the fun is in the looking. ;D
