wahh.. my mata terbeliak upon seing the price figure for the wok....
but i think if calculate throughout the years i changes wok, must sum up to that figure also... hahaha

Agentpink, I think you can put this down to the 'generation gap' ;D and just take all this for future reference....when you marry the Prince Charming tht we all married... ;D Thanks for the information, Melody! I guess what Jintanmanis said abt being a good cook is true....will stick to ionized wok - the anyways haha . Jintanmanis, wow!! 20 year old wok! Maybe a wok shld be part of a girl's dowry from her mum. But you know, it is true, I got mine when I settled down and hasnt failed me since. But will get a bigger size since we love to entertain...and to make sure the curry wont spill. Good luck with your shopping Chilicandy. One more thing, for a new wok, you have to 'wear it down' a little - so first time cooking on it shld be like frying old vegetable, animal fats etc - to naturalise it ..

yes sarahg... a new wok need to fry the pork's fats... then only the wok will be nice... ( i know tak halal... kekeke ), but its what my mom passed to me...
