On a personal basis I have started to organise a blood Donation Campaign tentatively fixed at 21 January 2006, it is a Saturday, 2 pm at Hospital Besar Pulau Pinang.
I have opened it up for my company staffs to register their interests. And now opening the Campaign to Pinkies to see if you guys are interested or not? Those who are below 17 years old can encourage your mums and dads or uncles and aunties or friends to donate blood.
It is a good deed to do before the start of the Chinese New Year...sort of to ward off bad luck and generate auspicious vibes/aura around you.
So, for those people in Penang and Kedah who are keen on this, please let me know.
Remember...one pint of blood can save 3 lives! According to Liao Fan, to change your destiny, you must be able to sacrifice or give up something of importance to you or being generous....including being generous with your blood.

Your opinions please! Valen, a real gud start! Thanks so much - blood donation is more valuable than monetary donation at times. Money sumtimes cannot even buy blood for life saving purposes  . For first time donors, it's not painful at all, just a little ant bite feeling at the start, that's all  . |

umm..........i've juz donated on 9/7/2005...........now can donate again meh? can.. u can donate ur blood again 3 months after ur last donation. been donating my blood every semester in my college. my previous donation was on Nov last year, so i can only donate my blood 3 months after that.. |

but scared oh...........when i donate on that day.........i'm only 17 years old..........and i pengsan............duno why..........scared pengsan again..........i'll go ask my papa and mama first............but dun think can go loh.......at p.pinang oh...........

Thanks you guys for the support but the idea of this event is not necessarily that pinkies themselves have to donate blood ...rather by helping to garner support and asking others to join in even if not pinkies.

ask family members oso can??mayb ask my sister if she is interested..whereas my godbrother does donate..hehe..n he was so happy to get an umbrella the other time when he donated...so lawak...but dat umbrella cheap one..rosak d..

umm..........i've juz donated on 9/7/2005...........now can donate again meh? It should be alright as it's now 6 months over......It's good to donate blood cause it helps our body to rebuild a brand new blood cell....... ;D for a brand new year of course.... |
