i was in f3 back then and was in a scout camp that night. around 2am, my senior took me and a few of my friends on a bike ride to Kledang Hill(in Ipoh, its a popular hiking hill), with plans to see the sunrise at the peak later. around 3+am we were half way up the road, pushing our bikes as we had no more strength to ride uphill. all of a sudden they were no more cricket/katak/insect sounds, just dead silence. from around the corner there came a granny, there was something awkward with her. for her given age, she should have been having slight difficulty walking, but she seemed to be very graceful, gliding to a certain extent. to add to our anxiety, she had like a soft ligth emitting from her, making her very visible even though she was in dark coloured clothes, whilst we were in white and we could barely see each another. i had a chill run through my back when my senior told us to keep quiet, dont look, and not to utter a single word. when the granny past us by, we dared not even look over our shoulders. we continued up the hill for a few minutes and then the silence was broken by the sound of insects once again. at the moment we freaked out and instantly got on our bikes, speeding downhill. once at the foot of the hill we gathered our senses and head back to school at 4+am. the funny thing is, we turned back within a few minutes after she past us somewhere half way up. we rode bikes down, speeding. there is no way that a walking person could be faster than a bike downhill. we didnt see her on the way down.

my dad used to work in an area in kuantan when i was in f5. he alone stayed in a large house/bungalow on top of the hill(like those old mansion type, not as big though), which used to be the place where big shot mat salleh's used to stay during the blooming tin minning industry. i was there once and i didnt like the place, it seemed to big and gloomy, certain areas like the staircase and pool table gave me chills down the spine. there was this one room that my dad forbid me to enter for a peculiar reason. this particular room had a few windows that my dad shut at night to prevent mosquitos, only to find upon returning from work, the window is reopened. after a few attempts, my dad got a pad lock to shut it tight, thinking that the arms might be loose or something. my dad came back to find the window open, the padlock was opened and left next on the window pane. again i remind you that my dad stayed alone, the key to the padlock only he had.

Funny, it seems that most people who went for school camps would somehow have a brush with the 'unnatural' ;D ;D Well, here's mine... It was during my St John's camp in school, 1993 was the year I think... At that time, my school was a very old creepy school... Err, toilets wouldn't work, creaky sounds and things like that... What happened is this... We were playing a game with the juniors, a game where each member is supposed to hold just a candle and walk around the school... We'd be hiding to make sure that everyone stays safe... Sometimes a few of us would be scaring the juniors and things like that... As for me, I had to lie down and pretend that I was a corpse, with a white cloth covering the whole me, & tied at the top of my head... After the thing ended, I stood up, gathered my cloth and then started my brisk walk back to camp... And horror struck!!! I passed another person lying down exactly the same way I was, also in white cloth... That time, I also don't remember what happened, but I just ran and ran and ran back to camp and told our camp advisor... We did a head check and everyone was back in camp... So who was it that I saw
