The photo of China, Jiu Zai Guo, a nice place. Plan to go for 2nd times next year I'm impressed. Is it taken with a SLR? I'm a novice and currently use a point and shoot cam. Got a little interested in photography lately and am thinking of getting a SLR. Any advice to offer? Thks .......

I am not sure whether is taken by SLR cause this photo is taken by my frend during our trip. What i know is he is using the camera with zooming function, like can zoom the image clearly even from the far distance, then he will turn his camera lens left & right to adjust the image for the best viewing (Sorry ya, i also quite blur on this) Please let me know if you need further details, then i will try to ask him & see

Ricky,
Photography does not really rely on expensive cameras.. if sceneries are concern... any simple camera also can do.. It is more on experience in photo taking...
1. The time of day will give different effects.. 2. The angle of shot...and framing of the shot and trimming 3. Computer Photo softwares - putting contrast, changing hues, etc.. 4. U want good clear pics, always set to high resolutions.. it takes alot of space but its worth it...if you want good pics ;D
unless you want marco or portrait photography, SLR is a must for good shots... ;D
