euthanasia? i guess it would depend on individual cases... but i personally would not allow euthanasia to be carried out on any of my family members... there's no such thing as mercy killing..there's only killing and no killing.. so....mercy killing for me..is still killing...no matter how nicely you package it..

hehe interesting topic just talked about it in college for my general paper classes earlier this year...
For me it depends on the situation... read up a bit on this about the passive euthanasia and active euthanasia... honestly its never a win-win situation for it... if you let a patient con tinue on it will brong suffering not only to the patient but also to the family not only mentally but also financially... sometimes the patients may choose to end their lives because they wish not to burden their family anymore but on the other hand with their passing on the family members would also experience emotional distraught...and when people say they would move on to a better place... how sure are you that they will move on to a better place? how would you know by ending their lives you also end their suffering... no one actually knows... sure god created us and its up to him when he wants us to return to him... by putting someone on life support and not allowing the course of nature would also be "playing god"... so for me the option to put someone on life support is a no in the first place let alone take it away. but for the terminally ill ie: last stage of cancer and they want to end their lives... i'm against that for religious reasons.

sorry o..... i cant understand..........pai seh.......... ~I LOVE DANIEL~(^@@^) just go to read properly. then u will know what they mean.. simple language : Do u think a doctor has authority to end a patient's life as the patient is either in life crisis/coma/serious disabilty/etc .... unless miracle happens, or else the patient going to suffer for the rest of life..
