what are the TV programmes that you are currently watching, besides daniel of course... haha... (that one no need ask hor...)
i chanced upon this slot on 8tv yesterday.. its oliver's twist.
seing the title, you wouldnt have guessed what programme it is. 9.30 pm, every wednesday night. And yesterday night is the first time i saw the show.
Its about cooking! hahaha, the host is JAMIE OLIVER, quite leng cai..
yesterday, it was showing him and an italian guy, going around the city looking for those plants and herbs growing wild on the street and field. They really plucks them and starts cooking... wahh, looking at them cooked those western culinaries, really got me mouth watering eh !

i love jamie oliver oso...i love his cooking...sadly,my mum say his tongue too short n my aunt say he cooking all use hand..dirty...they r typical chinese lar...tak tau guna tangan only got rasa...haihzzzzz
i watch Project Superstar oso...den i watch extreme makeover when i hv the time n oso top model n american idol...alamak...i watch all lar...heheh...i am a tv addict lor...

hahaha OMG *tongue* too short ;D of course cooking use hand mah.... they got wash their hand, if dont use hand, then use what ? comes to cooking, cannot be 'si-man'... sure the hand gets oily with foods, etc... oh yes, thanks julie for posting his picture, leng zai or not? i've watched extreme makeover before.. but very difficult to follow that show, because i always forgets when its a once a week programme.

i love the food he prepares yesterday show... and i am eager to try his recipe... but they use a lot of minyak zaitun... btw, what is minyak zaitun in english?

Aunty candy, minyak zaitun is called 'olive oil' kekee... yeap, the westerners uses a lot of olive oil because it's more healthy... even for cooking also they use olive oil...
I love jamie oliver!!! But he got wife and got a baby dy lor... His recipes are very easy to do... but sadly haven't try out any yet... I wish to collect all his books... 7 of them... but... my pocket sudah berlubang dy... aihz... He has a website with all the recipes one i think... wait, i go find then only i'll post up here...

I started watching Jamie's cooking show since forever, forgot when already. He was still slim that time, same style of cooking. I cudn't recall then when was the show time, so will just catched his show by chance with the TV which was not hard since my TV was always on then.
One of the reason, they use a lot of hand and not washing their vege/meat few times like us before cooking is that bcos, the food stuff thay buy off the market rack are cleaned and can be used rite away.

their veges certainly looks fresher and cleaner ! see the fish yesterday also will lao hao sui ! his sphaghetti looks easy to prepare too !

Actually they hv 2 show abot jamie oliver, one is jamie's kitchen on tuesday nite, 9.30pm and another one is oliver's twist, wednesday nite, 9.30pm too....
jamie's kitchen is talked abot tat jamie's restaurant is opening soon and he want 2 choose people tat do not how 2 cook 2 be his chef....so, the show is abot how they train the people....u can see another type of jamie oliver...in oliver's twist, he seem very happy wif his guest and cooking...but tis one u can see tat he seem very stress abot tis task
actually, i'm not a fan of oliver's twist but my sis does....she'll never miss his show on tv...and she wishes tat she is one of those trainee in jamie's restaurant...haha
