You can't let go 'History' even you are in public@local uni. History is a compulsory subject @ partial requirement no matter you are in which faculty.

For local uni one, it wont as easy as 'LAN' because you need to study history of several ancient civilization including China, India, Japan.... And is a must you need to study Civilization of Islamic! Just for your extra info, this paper also known as TITAS (Tamadun Islam dan Tamadun Asia) in University of Malaya.

am i really losing touch with the current trend of thinking "LAN" = Local Area Network? what is LAN anyway? during my time then, history was not a compulsory paper in form 4, 5 or form 6 and i studied in kebangsaan school. i din't take any TITAS during my time in local uni either. the subject 'dare to fail' bring back much memories from the past. yup quite daring and took risks.. but then all happened during young times. may be now old already. wanna stay in the comfort zone, anything with a slight risk, will think twice before doing it.

failure.... got a lot... too many until i dont really remember them, unless i really sit down and try to remember them... hmm... lets see... school time... i hate one subject alot, its ADD maths... and throughout my exams i only manage one pass. So, the SPM was looming, and i wanted to drop the subject ( because i am taking all the subject it doesnt matter if i drop this one ), i really had no confidence in this subject... my sister advise me to take it, she told me even if i failed it, it wont show up on the cert... so i took it, and end up with F9!! yeah, failed it... ;D the morale of the story, i understand myself better, so i know where my limit is... if i didnt take the subject, i could use up the time for other subject... Don't worry i failed my chemistry in the MCE or SPM now. Just wasn't interested in it. After that I never looked at any chemistry books anymore. Its just not my cup of tea. At least I know that I'm not good at it and thus chose a career that had nothing to do with chemistry. Nowadays, I just asked my sister about anything relating to chemicals etc ;D At one point i started a busines with some friends in IT and in 1998 we had an economic problem and the business turning bad. Thats when I search my innerself to find what other things that i can do...and guessed what ..i discover that i could still earn a living doing art and craft..hahahaha ;D

hmmm ... sometimes i hope i can "load" the saved game after i did some mistakes ... i guess my biggest failure is i cant accept any deterioration in my results ... last semester, i din do really well in my exam paper ... and i couldn't sleep and eat properly ... until my dad finally cannot tahan me and started to scold "little bit failure also like that ... what re u going to do when u come out and work???" ... wahhh ... so scary ... now i dun dare to pull long face in front of him dee ...

Let me share with you my "failure" ..not really a failure...because I din really started it. I got this matchmaker licence and a business oppurtunity from US...the system matches person A against person B ...matches in terms of characterictics , likings, hobbies, etc...and comes out with a "perfect" match for those keen to find a life partner. Of course, "perfect" only according to this sophisticated computer system. I spent quite a lot to acquire this system but didnot really start doing it... haizzz....
