I breastfed all my 5 children. Advice from my mother-in-law was to breast feed the baby on both breast each time. According to my mother-in-law one breast is for thirst the other for hunger. To my logic, I have to alternate them so that my breast remain the same size.Hahaha

not sure whether i should post this thing here ... but to all pregnant or breastfeeding mothers ... doctors advise to feed with left breast instead of right ... that can prevent the babies from getting stomache ... Really? What is the reason? Eemun, are u in college? what major?

Wow, the sacrifications of parents for their kids... i'm so touched... staying up all night when their child is sick, their education, entertain them, their toys... I seriously cherish everything my parents has done for me and my bro...
But there's something i would want to ask... As a parent, how do you feel if let's say your child do bad things? (Touch wood) For example mixing with the wrong group of friends, ponteng classes, smoking and all... how do you feel? and how would you want to change it?

Really? What is the reason? Eemun, are u in college? what major? i followed an attachment in ipoh hosp last time, and i did ask this question to a gynae doctor bout it ... and she reckon that ... cause human stomach is tilted a bit to the left, and when feeding with left breast, the milk can easily be digested ... feeding on right breast is okay but the baby will take in a lot of air bubbles and u need to constantly pat the back of baby to remove the air ... or otherwise the accumulation of air will cause stomache ... lily, i am doing 2nd yr in pharmacy this year ...

Yes , I have . When I was breast feeding my first child.I had problem feeding the baby directly because of sore nipple .So i have to pump it into the bottle .
I learnt that I should not let the baby suckle for more then 10mins on each breast to avoid sore nipples. with my 2nd baby I was able to breast feed with the baby sleeping by my side. HEE HEE ! like mother pig feeding its piglets.
