Hi! I'm hideko. I'm Japanese live in Japan.

I made to setting up this thread newly,
because of there is a person who wanted to learn Japan.

Though I am not so good at English.

I think the story is severe, bad sample.
I think my sentences aren't good and too long...
but, if you could read last, I would be greatly appreciate.

Relationship my father & me isn't good,
Relationship my mother & me is same, too.
When I'm in parents' house(hometown), I talk to mother better than father.
But, when I live far from parents, I don't usually call to mother.

I was born in local city in Japan. My parents are Japanese, too.
Though I hear the story with simple relation between parent and child in Tokyo,
but my town is to value kinship's connections.

I have a younger sister, so I'm eldest daughter.
Therefore, when I knew Daniel have four brother & sister, I was surprised.
In Japan today, I think there are a lot of family the brother is two or one.
When I know a person's brothers are three people, I feel there are a lot of brothers.

Relationship my younger sister & me is...
My younger sister can behave neatly like my mother, and she likes sports.
Since junior high scool, she was absorbed in sports at the school from early morning till late at night.
(It seems to be absorbed in sports still, with her husband.)
I'm a person favorite to listen to music, to read the comic book, and to be interested in the fortune-telling.
I don't like sports.
So, our conversation has decreased.

I have no brother, so my parents have persuaded to me since I was child,
"you must defend our land and the grave".
My house set it up in land that has been succeeded from generation to generation. (Land is not wide.)
My parents were working.
Father is a person whom which was alive as he likes, and mother can behave neatly.
My mother united work and housework, and I respect my mother now.
But, parents thought "you must defend our land and the grave" was big pressure for me.
I'm an unfilial child...

If I have brother, he tells that thing from my parents.
I thought I never followed parents' opinions,
I thought if I had only had to have brother..., why I might not have been born in Tokyo...
I had decided that I enter the university or college in the remote place my hometown, after graduate I kept live there, too.
When I received the notification of acceptance from the collage, mother
permitted reluctantly.
However, I was not able to say to father I had passed the collage, before two days we have to pay the collage the entrance fee.
Father sometimes said to me, if you study the university or collage, I permit only the university or collage in hometown.
(he said the same thing for my finding employment...)
So, father blamed me why you wanted to study the collage in land away from hometown.
Even the high school I was better an English grade, I want to study English Literature Section at collage.
(so, I can read English, but can't speak English...haha...)
I bowed to father... Finally, father permitted reluctantly.
At last, my wish fulfilled, when I studied college I parted with parents.

When I was enjoy collage life, sometimes my mother call to me,
she said without fail,
"after you graduate, will you return here(hometown) and find employment?"
I didn't do that, I was disgusted to finish telephone.

After I graduated, I came this town(now I live) and found employment,
and still parted with parents now.(I don't employed now)

I have husband.
We met at the collage.
I decided marriage with him, but my parents opposed it.
When I marry him, I'll live in land far away with parents.
So, my father said "you must defend our land and the grave"...
My lover, lover's father and me went to my hometown, to bow my father,
finally, my father managed to permit my marriage.

My husband is nice person. He is Japanese, too. (such his face isn't good.)
He likes watch Hong Kong movie on DVD like me,
(but he doesn't listen Chinese pops, he likes J-pops.)
he is intelligence, he knows a lot of things,
make the PC by himself, and he can deal with the person friendly.
So he liked by many people.
I'm an opposite character in him, I think it's a strenge thing he still loves me.

Maybe, I have passed 8 years since I married.
Sometimes he says "aisite iruyo (I love you)",
"hide-chan (he calls me like that) kireidane (you are beautiful)"
to me still now.
In Japan, I think such a person doesn't exist a lot.
Before, I couldn't said my desire to him easily, because I was shameful.
I think he felt dissatisfied my behavior.
He said "why you don't say "I love you" to me ?"
It is said by him, and I say by thinking barely "...I love you...".
It's usually opposite, it might be a word that the woman says to the man.

But now, I often feel I don't I like him...
I occasionally thought if he was my friend from the beginning...
(This is secret in the husband...haha)

I have no child.
In Japan, the number of couples who don't have the child in various circumstances has increased.
It's becoming a problem now, because it causes the population decrease of Japan.
It calls "syousika", it means the number of children has decreased.
However, I think a married women of about mostly 33 years old (like me) who have no child,
they think that undergo treatment or the operation on infertility.
My husband want child.
Husband's parents don't say "you must have the child early."
I think, they want to see grandchild's face early.
But, I don't care. I feel it's unquestionable for me even if I have no child.
My younger sister have two children. They are very cute! (tottemo kawaii!)
But, I think I feel it's unquestionable for me even if I have no child.

I feel me a person who has a strange sense.

Though I don't know how to become ahead, if I determine divorce, I'll go to other land.
Maybe my parents will say, "come back to our home"...
I want keep away from my parents, if possible...
It is said that the divorce is difficult, I also think so.

It might be easy to tell a general story in the form of the family in Japan...

If my husband writes his family's thing, he will write interesting sentences unlike me.
His relations are good with his family, unlike me.
Maybe he will introduce me,
"my wife is strange person, she likes Chinese Stars, always listen Chinese pops, and likes watch Hong kong movies..."

Incidently, it's Christmas soon.
There are three events of winter for me, during December to January.
(it's too long story again...)

- Christmas -
When I was my hometown (since the high school student),
it was becoming before the number of days of Christmas,
we made decorate Christmas tree (made of plastic) in the living room,
and on the night of the 24/12, my family observed Christmas,
with christmas cake and bird's meats and European style dishes(forgotten in detail...)

Now, my husband & me don't decorate the Christmas tree on 24/12.
but eat christmas cake and bird's meats and European style dishes.

The stocking filler was put on the side of the pillow on the morning of the 25/12,
When I was in the third grade of elementary school,
I was shock a little to notice my mother putting the present on the bedside...

I became a collage student, and parted with parents, lived alone.
When I was a freshman, December 24 was spent alone in the apartment room.
I regretted a little, I decided far away from my parents.
"When Christmas congratulated with my parents, I was happy.... "
I bought two slices of cake from the supermarket, and ate them while seeing TV.
The chime of the door rang at about 11 PM.
When I opened the door, there was friend who classmate's boy.
I was surprised at a sudden visit of him who didn't have the telephone either,
I thought "what happened to him?"
He said, "Gave it. Though the cake was gotten from the friend, it remained."
He passed box to me and returned soon.
I said to only him "Thank you..."
I opened a box after he left, there was two cutting cake.
Though the doubt had remained in his behavior, I was glad.
Because I loved him in those days.
However, I knew he had already made special relation with two women,
so I had decided keep friend with him.
However, I came to love him because of the matter of the cake.

After all, I confessed to him in several months on letter.
After one week he said me by telephone,
"Let's stay on by the friend. Let's have speak usually in the future."
I was refused by him, after all, he & me were not able a friend...

I had the associating person at the next year's Christmas. (He is my husband today.)
He said, "Having not observed Christmas in my family..."
I was surprised, and felt him poor...
His father said, "The buddhist was not a thing to observe Christmas".
His family ate a expansive sushi for Christmas, and to be the end.
(Tentatively, though my parents' is a Buddhism...)

I had celebrated Christmas with him,
with christmas cake and bird's meats and European style dishes.
(The Christmas tree was not decorated)
He seemed very glad.

When speaking to woman's friend later, matter of christmas cake at the first grader,
she said, "I don't understand his behavior..."
When I ask my lover, "what do you think because of man's standpoint?"
he said,
"When the cake only remained, he recalled you. There is no deep meaning."

- New Year -
A special menu is prepared at the New Year.
The "osechi" and "zouni"(rice cakes boiled with vegetables)
are typical foods in Japan at the New Year.
The "osechi" packs the food that doesn't worsen at once into the box for the "osechi".
(It is difficult to explain to the person who doesn't know about Japanese New Year at all in the word...)
It seems to be a meaning of the "osechi" for the wife need not even cook from the 1st to the 3rd in the New Year.
However, the wife becomes should a variety of preparations of meal after all on Jan 1.
"zouni" takes soup with the soy sauce and sake.
"zouni"'s soup seems to be different in the region, and it seems to take the
taste with the miso in Osaka.
It takes with the soy sauce in my region.

As for the New Year, "otoshidama" is the enjoyment in the Japanese child.
(It looks like "Ang bao" in Malaysia? )

About my family, we go to husband's parents' family on January 2 or 3,
and husband's relative is matched to the face.
(Though there are a lot of Japanese who travel overseas at this time,
such a thing has not been done at my home.)
Money is put in a small bag, and the adult gives the bag to relative's child.
At that time, even the university(collage) student can get "otoshidama".

The amount of money of "otoshidama" goes up whenever going on to the school above.
Even if "otoshidama" is glad of the child, the adult who gives it is serious.
Money tends to go out variously for the period of the New Year...

And, the third three large events in January is my birthday. (haha...

Though a married woman who passes 30 years old I don't understand how they feel their birthday.
I am still glad.
The cake is bought for my birthday, and celebrates with the husband.
with saying, "otanjyoubi omedetou" (Happy birthday)
Two years ago, my husband said to me,
"because it will be your birthday tomorrow, so you bake a cake?"
I felt anger his words, "Why should I bake a cake by myself on my birthday?"
I went to buy the cake at that time.

- Japanese food & health -
I saw news that it comes to have been known also in foreign countries
that meal of Japan was good for health.
I was looking at this like the others thing.

Japanese food is a thing to make the best use of an original taste of the ingredient
besides simply easoning with the soy sauce, sake, the miso, and the stock as for the vegetable and the fish.

As for Japan, there might be a lot of people who associate the sushi.
(Daniel likes sushi, too.)
The shop "kaiten sushi(Rotate sushi)" is in the Japanese whole country recently.
Being united for 100 yen all plates is a welcome price for the people.

In old times, though it was felt that such a quality was not good,
but the quality improves by the effort on the shop side now.
I usually eat about roughly seven plates.
but occasionally eat any more, the load is in the stomach.
It's attention for the overeating.

The "instant noodle" of Japan also has the foreigner who buys one cardboard box
because it is delicious and makes it to the souvenir.
I often ate "instant noodle" when the stomach became empty to me in the
middle of the night.
But now, I had not eaten now before.

My mother said, "the instant noodle is not such a good a thing for the body either".
I had not eaten the instant noodle until getting into college and living alone.
Therefore, when I ate the instant noodle for the first time,
I had been impressed, "It's delicious!"

My mother is making the home-cooked meal of Japan,
that thought about the nutritional balance,
by still holding out by the retirement even when working.

Though I like European foods,
I made eating the mother's dish when I'm in the hometown as much as possible

However, father was different.

My father like fish, hates vegetable.
He has had an unbalanced diet for a long time.

Last year, my father was recognized the heart disease,
and said by the doctor that he would require an immediate operation.
The operation succeeded safely.

After it had operated, we visited our father in the intensive care unit.
A lot of machines had surrounded father's surroundings,
I felt that it was miserable to terrible.

Father would leave in one month hospital, and come to take care with meal a little than before afterwards.
But, when the day passes, the habit of my father's unbalanced diet has came out.
After all, because father had developed diabetes,
the doctor said that my father must increase the number of medicines...
This is what mother inadvertently said by telephone recently.
Mother in the telephone was coming considerably...

It is necessary to do the meal limitation when getting diabetic.
The family who prepares meal think more than before, it becomes a large encumbrance.

When report that father had to operate on the heart disease was received last year,
when father had developed diabetes,
after I received the report, I was not able to feel like doing anything for a while...

Father is not 60 years old yet.
Sometimes father said, "I live until 120 years old!"
However, I think that father might live for years how many another.
ten years? or five years...?

My grandmother also suffered from the diabetic and the heart disease, and died ahead 70 years old.

Mother said to me,
"Like grandmother & father, the possibility that you become a heart disease and developed diabetes, too.
Take care enough about meal."
I'm bearing it in mind like taking more vegetables.

A lot of this time and personal examples were given.
Even if said, "Japanese food is good for the body".
That word that the person who has an unbalanced diet doesn't have the meaning.

You must spend healthy daily life taking care enough about meal.

Today's topic is J-pops.

- J-pops -
Recently, the music of Japan comes to be called "J-pops".
I think there is a person in Malaysia likes J-pops.

But, I have not listened to the J-pops so much after coming to hear Chinsese Pops about ten years ago.

So, I'm sorry that I cannot give to you detailed information,
"J-pops artists today are such people..."

I think that the preference of Japanese recent music is subdivided.
Daniel is "Malaysian Idol"
But, like Daniel in Malaysia,
I feel that all members of the Japanese people's favorite singer doesn't exist in Japan now.

However, recently in Japan, there is a singer of popular union by two men.
I write a little about them.

The singer unites' name is "WaT"

The members are 20 years old men, teppei Koike and Wentz Eiji.

Teppei Koike won the championship in the audition of the magazine in 2001, and has acted as an actor.
He is performing to the drama "Oniyome nikki" www.ktv.co.jp/oni/
as a supporting player now.

He performs a little strange man.
He is an instructor of the sports club, and is abundant knowledge,
and is related to circumstances of hero's married couple's home well.
but he doesn't look back at his lover so much...

Wentz Eiji is a person who has German American's father and Japanese mother.
But, he only speaks Japanese. (He cannot speak English at all. and he can't write English at all...)

When he was child, he was acting as a model.
Recently, he is appearing on the variety program well
and he is doing the amusing story well like the comedian.
The man talent with a good externals is not usually welcomed so much by the men.
But, his remark is interesteing, so welcomed also by the men.

They seemed to considerably good relations at private life,
and to have begun a live activity on the road in 2002.
Their first single "boku no kimoti"(My feelings) was released this year,
and a tolerable evaluation is obtained.

Because both faces are as lovely as the idol, it seems to be chiefly popular among the woman.

Their faces look like Daniel. Is it only me feel so?

umm...It's a difficult problem...

It is said that when someone get a diabetic once, it will never recover afterwards.

When it gets a diabetic once,
it comes whether to disturb the disease progression or to make it progress...

It can do nothing but make an effort about the person in question.
If the patient of the diabetic thinks that he/she wants to make the sickness
not allowed progress any further...

I think that there are a lot of women who like fortune-telling as for any country.

There is a method of the fortune-telling to foretell the character etc. by the blood type, too.
However, when I knew that it was only Japanese that foretold by the blood type, I was surprised.

When I was a student, classmate's personnel changes because of the class organization,
the story of the blood type comes out.
There was girl asking the classmate,
"What is your blood type?" (ketuekigata wa nanigata?),
I was asked, too.

My blood type is B.
The following conversations were done for me.

"Are you A type? (Differ.) O type? (Differ.) Then, the AB type?(Differ...)
so... are you B type? (Correct...)"

At the rate of a Japanese population,there are not so much Japanese of blood type B.

Seems to be a lot of A types, and decrease to the Japanese in order named
O, B, and AB the number of people.

As for B type, there are a lot of things without a good impression it seems to be assumed, "strange person"...

Every time the classmate changed,
though the blood type kept being questioned to the junior high school student.
I who was B type became disgusted...

A lot of books and magazines related to the fortune-telling written in Japanese are put on the market.

At the end of the year,
a lot of magazines and books that foretell
whether very the following fortune of one year are arranged in row in the bookstore, too.

When I was a junior high school student, I was interested in the tarot card and the western astorology.

The fortune-telling specialty magazine for the girl like a junior high school student is issued, (Sell it now.)
and I bought the magazine, and I studied the fortune-telling.
However, both were also difficult, and I was after a while interested in me at that time.

I was interested in the tarot card again for about five years ago.

The tarot card is composed of 78 pieces.
It is said that you should use the following cards if you start to study tarot.

I found a BBS by which the person who like tarot was practicing the judge of the tarot card on the internet. (only Japanese participated.)

It is mostly a following question.

"When does the lover show up to me?"
"Can I be reunited with the separating person?"
"When can I marry?"
"Can I find employment?"
"Do I go well though I want to change my job from the company that works now to a different company?"

The person who foretells those worries judges with the tarot card, and they write result & advice to BBS.
Within the course of a few days, most people apply the comment, the judge result hit or different.

It becomes study for the person whom foretells with tarot.
I also was repeating such a thing with BBS.

When my fortune-telling is hit,
"Why have you understood that? It's wonderful! Thank you!"
the reaction returned.
I saw the reaction who request foretell was pleased, I became glad, too.

In after several days and several months,
"I went well thanks to your advice. Thank you."
the reaction has returned, and at such time I have been surprised for myself.

However, when my fortune-telling was not occasionally hit at all.
"Well... I understood. Thank you..."
The reaction returned...

A regrettable reaction was seen to be being written in BBS,
and when I had to improve the technology of tarot further, I kept practicing judging.

On a certain day, the trouble occurred by the BBS.
I decided it to the practice of the tarot fortune-telling with another BBS.
However, it is not time when I practiced foretelling with BBS.

I'm interested in Indian astrology recently.

There are some sites of Japanese Indian astrology, too.
There is BBS that foretells the judge of Indian astrology free of
charge, too.
The content of the fortune-telling is open to the public.

Indian astrology is too difficult, so I only see the judge of other people done by BBS free of charge.

This year, the logjam was felt my life, I recalled Indian astrology,
and I was judged with free BBS.
(My worry was open to the public in BBS.)

I thought that it might be a bad result.
Because a result was not bad, I thought that I was unexpected.

I was interested in Indian astrology, and even I made it to seeing my chart.
I understood various things from my chart further.

Time when one's environment and idea change greatly is understood in Indian astrology.
(I think it isn't easy to understand for a moment from the horoscope of the West.)

For instance, my idea changed greatly in getting into college,
the thing had clearly gone out to my chart.
And, I understood the time when my fortune changes greatly next.
I feel it in honest a little fear.

Though it depends on knowledge and the experience to the fortune teller's fortune-telling,
Indian astrology is not only a date of the birth,
the birth time and the birth place are accurately understood and it often hits.

I traveled to Kyoto at the time of beginning of Dec '05.
There is a "omikuji"(lot) in the Shinto shrine in Japan.
I drew lots twice in famous two places of Kyoto in the Shinto shrine.

When I go to the Shinto shrine, it is the enjoyment to draw the lot.
"dai kiti" is the best, and "dai kyou" is worst.

Because lots that I drew in Kyoto were results so not good.
It was written that "syou kiti". I was a little disappointed.
But I saw word that "live in sincerity" , I agreed on the word.

I think that there are a lot of man who don't believe the
fortune-telling either.
However, I think that the fortune-telling becomes one's indicator when embarrassing.

If the result of a good fortune-telling comes out,
and the effort of one's own way is done, the result becomes will be better.

Even if someone knows luck to come oppositely,
but the person assumes that he/she is without changing,
after all, they can't grip a wonderful result.

"sentaku" - Japanese

The content of lyrics is love relation between three people.

If you love someone who having the lover or the consort,
you think the relation between you & he/she is a fate,
you should show courage and challenge.
The word be sometimes seen at Japanese site or book.

I cannot say that it's opposite or agree for it...
It might become and two people become happy.

However, can't stop one's feelings when coming to like someone what environment or state he/she is.
Though there is a person honestly advanced ahead in he/she feelings,
I'll surely think this and that...

If the meaning in Chinese is translated into Japanese, it becomes "sodateru"

If the meaning in English is translated into Japanese, it becomes
"ai wo sodateru".

"ai wo sodateru"...
About two months ago, I read the book that adhered to it.
I think I have possibly lived without thinking about such a thing, I shocked a little...

"watasi wa siranai" - Japanese

It seems to be a spoken language more, and it becomes "sirimasen."

When Japanese is able to be broken more, it becomes "siranai."

Is the meaning of English good in this?

When the meaning of English is hit, the meaning of Japanese becomes it so,
"motto kimiga aisite kuretara"

"motto anata ga aisite kuretara"..., it's a little painful...

In English, "especially for youh is appropriate?

It might be an effective word if you use it with the letter and mail.
